Promotional Guidelines

The contract ladder

Contract levels are earned by hitting published production targets. Higher levels open up team-building requirements and bigger overrides.

How Promotions Work

Clear rules, no surprises

01

To qualify for a new contract level, hit the required production for two consecutive months. Production months end on the last calendar day of each month.

02

Both your personal production and your total hierarchy's production count toward promotion. To hold your level, hit the required production at least once every three months.

03

If your first leg is more than 50% of your business, only 50% of your total volume counts toward a compensation raise.

Beyond Commission

Carrier production bonuses

On top of your contract, several of our carriers pay their own production bonuses — real cash on top of commission for the business you're already writing.

Foresters — Fund Your Dreams

A quarterly cash bonus that pays out every three months. It starts at 12% once you reach 25,000 points (1 point per $1 of net paid annualized premium) and scales up with production. Requires a minimum of 6 apps per quarter plus placement and persistency standards.

Americo — UFirst Rewards

An 8% cash bonus on qualifying life production, paid out every six months.

Corebridge — SIWL Bonus

Earn up to $10,000 in cumulative bonuses on eligible SimpliNow Legacy simplified-issue whole life — starting at $500 for 10 issued policies and climbing to the full $10,000 at 25.

Bonus programs are set by each carrier, vary by state and product, and can change annually. Figures shown are examples — confirm current terms with the carrier.

Earn Your Way There

Incentive trips

Top producers don't just earn more — they get flown out. Carriers run annual incentive and convention trips you qualify for through production, and Oracle helps you hit the targets that get you on the plane.

  • Transamerica — 2026 Convention in Los Cabos, Mexico (April 12–16, 2026) for qualifying producers
  • Mutual of Omaha — 2026 Sales Leaders trip to Prague, Czech Republic (qualify Jan 1–Dec 31, 2026)
  • Plus other carriers — annual convention and reward trips for top producers
  • Production-based — you earn the trip by writing business, not by paying for it

Incentive trips are offered and administered by the carriers, with qualification rules and destinations that change annually. Ask your mentor for the current year's trips and targets.
